Traffic regulations in Poland

They are compatible with the rules in the EU countries. The relevant speed limits on Polish roads are:

  • 50 km/h for all vehicles in builtup areas;
  • 90 km/h on fourlane express roads.
  • 130 km/h on motorways;

Between October and February headlights must be switched on at all times while driving.
