Old trees lean over the crystal-clear water and wild birds slowly swim out of the bulrushes. Our peacefully meandering rivers are full of charm, but they can also become quite wild and rapid. Northern Poland’s most picturesque kayaking routes of the Brda, Krutynia and Czarna Hancza with their waterside hostels are waiting for you. The long evenings by the water are often spent discussing the phenomenal canals and waterways in Poland: about the Augustow Canal, its unique sliding facilities which transport boats overland, and about unusual crossings of waterways.

The choice for you is really rich: one can enjoy the fascinating Drweca waterway and the Brodnickie Lakeland or the Drawa kayaking route and the Walcz Lake District. Also very interesting is the Rega, rapidly carrying its waters towards the Baltic Sea. Amateurs of more hazardous adventures can try the mountain rivers of Dunajec and Bobr, and those who enjoy winter kayaking may go on the Brda, Drweca and the Wda.
