While travelling, they also get to know their own country quite well. During my seven years in the office, I’ve visited every Polish commune and surely each of our counties. I often have the opportunity to see many aspects of our country’s life. In the little leisure time that I have, I’ve become a devoted tourist very much enchanted by his own country and have spent many of my summer holidays on the Polish sea coast. I’ve seen a great number of beautiful places in the world but nothing compares with the Hel Peninsula’s splendid beaches and with the Baltic Sea waters’ changing colours. If I happen to have a free weekend, I usually spend it with my family in a scenic forest near Warsaw. While walking or biking, we can admire the beauty ofnature and at the same time see interesting historical monuments. Poland is an ideal destination for those seeking rest and relaxation and also for those wishing to tour and discover interesting sites. I could speak endlessly about the beauty of Poland’s landscape and our country’s historical heritage. I would mention such well-known sites as Cracow andthe Masurian lakeland, the wilderness of the Bieszczady Mountains, the still unexplored Lublin Roztocze, and the unique Renaissance city of Zamosc. Instead, I invite you to my country to see for yourself. Come and visit Poland: this visit will certainly stay in your memory for a long while.
