This area has been dubbed the "Polczyn Switzerland" and is part of Drawski and Inski Scenic Park. Mineral waters were discovered here in 1688. Polczyn was already a well-known spa in the 19th century. The beautiful Zdrojowy Park, now 80 hectares in area, was established to increase the town’s attractiveness. Treatment facilities: sanatoriums and spa hospitals with 1,286 beds. Available therapy: physiotherapy centre, one outdoor and one indoor preventive and sports swimming pool, brine pool. Attractions and cultural events: Polczyn has two cinemas, an amphitheatre in the park, and Borowinka spa-patients’ club which holds numerous chamber concerts. Sightseeing: 15th/16th-century church, 14th-century castle, the seat of Prince Boleslaw IV of Pomerania, 19th-century water mill with a unique wheel 13 m in diameter.
