Welcome to the polish mountains
Welcome to the trails of the Tatras, the most eastern of Europe’s alpine type mountains after the Sudetens. These are the mountains of a thousand surprises, from the Karkonosze forming the highest peaks, where mouflons freely roam, to the Stolowe or Table Mountains with their fantastic rock formations and to the trails of the Sowie and Kaczawskie Mountains which enchant both geologists and tourists. The deserted Bieszczady Range is not to be missed with its miles of trappers’ trails.
Come and discover the beauty of the Pieniny, from rafting on the white water rapids of the Dunajec in the summer to admiring the breathtaking foliage of the Beskid forests in the autumn. In the winter months, enjoy the wonderful cross-country trails that crisscross the Sudetens, Beskids and the Tatras. Come in the spring to discover the magical beauty of crocuses emerging from under the snow, which still is lingering in the meadows and glades of the majestic Tatras.
While hiking in the Polish mountains you can rely on comfortable accommodations of all levels (from mountain huts to luxurious hotels), experienced guides, cable cars and chair lifts, plus many hiking and cultural attractions. All tourist trails are clearly marked and well-maintained. Come and enjoy the hospitality that the Polish mountains offer.
