The Frédéric Chopin International Piano Competition is one of the most important music events in Poland. A prize from this competition, which is held every five years, has paved the way for many a pianist’s world career.

Music lovers will particularly enjoy piano concerts at the manor in Zelazowa Wola, Frédéric Chopin's family home.

The Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music is held every year in September.

Organ concerts are played in Oliwa, Kamien Pomorski, Lezajsk, Zarnowiec and in the tiny wooden church in Rabka.

The Jewish Culture Festival in Cracow's Kazimierz district is also filled with music.

International Jazz Vocalists’ Meetings are held in May in Zamosc.

The International Festival of Orthodox Church Music, held in May in Hajnowka, has gained world fame.
