Oporow
Gothic knight’s residence
The Gothic castle of Oporow (15th c.) is one of a few castles in Poland that survived in their original form.
Raised on an artificial island, it is surrounded by a moat and a fine landscape park (19th c.). It houses a museum of interior decorations with art collections from different epochs (16th-19th cc.).
At one end of the village stands a monastic complex from the 15th century.
